Frequently Asked Questions:
The Lifetime Warranty covers all manufacturing defects related to the bulbs, drivers, and warning cancellers.
If a bulb, ballast, warning canceller, or power relay harness doesn’t work or stops working before the end of its estimated lifespan, we will replace it for free. For more information, visit our Lifetime Warranty policy.
A warning canceller (also known as an anti-flicker) is an accessory required on some vehicles to prevent your headlights and fog lights from flickering (strobing) and to eliminate dashboard warnings normally caused by aftermarket bulbs.
The warning canceller bypasses your car’s computer system so the aftermarket Xenon HID bulbs can function properly. If your car requires a warning canceller but it is not added to your order, our HID bulbs will not work at all or as expected.
Warning canceller is required on the following vehicles:
The wattage determines the level of brightness. The higher the wattage, the brighter the bulbs will be.
You can expect the following brightness for each wattage level:
Since most drivers are looking to improve their nighttime visibility, we always recommend that drivers go with the 55-watt option.
All our bulbs come with proprietary anti-glare technology so you can be sure you won’t be blinding other drivers, regardless of the brightness level selected.
A power relay harness is only required for dual-beam bulbs. This accessory supplies extra power and controls the flow of current from your vehicle to the dual-beam bulbs. Without this accessory, dual-beam bulbs will not work.
If you do not see this option when customizing your Xenon HID kit then you do not need one.
A dual-beam bulb is for vehicles that use 1 (one) bulb for both low and high beams. The following bulbs require a power relay harness:
Our bulbs are designed to be an exact match to factory bulbs in terms of locking tabs and factory power harness for a seamless and easy Plug & Play installation.
In order to be sure that you are ordering the right bulb size, be sure to follow our Vehicle Finder. You can also look at your car manual for the exact bulb size to be sure.
If you have aftermarket headlight assemblies, using our Vehicle Finder will not display the right product since they are not the original headlights that came with the vehicle. These headlights typically carry H1, H7, 9005 or 9006 bulbs. You can confirm the size of the bulb by looking at the assembly user manual or by looking at the bulb inside the assembly.
Some vehicles may use adapters, retainers, and/or clips for the bulb socket. Said adapters, retainers, and/or clips may impact installation or fitment and are not included in our HID headlight bulb conversion kits. It is the customer's responsibility to acquire said adapters, retainers, and/or clips and to ensure they are compatible with HID conversion kits prior to ordering.
Installing HID headlight or fog light bulbs is just as easy as replacing halogen bulbs and should take no longer than 20-25 minutes per side.
For more information visit our Xenon HID Headlights Installation Guide.
The HID AC slim ballast is required to control the voltage and current supply from your vehicle's power supply to the Xenon HID bulb. All our bulbs come with ballasts.
No. All our Xenon HID bulbs are designed specifically for your car and will never damage any part of your vehicle. HID bulbs operate at a lower temperature than halogen bulbs.
The ballast, anti-flicker, and power relay harness (only required for dual-beam bulbs) will ensure perfect compatibility with your car's power supply.
