This guide covers all sub-models and trims (LS, LT, and WT) of the 1999 to 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The '99-'02 models use all the same bulbs as the '03-'06 with the exception of the fog lights. We make the distinction below in our size charts.

Check out these two great videos on how to change your headlight bulbs in your 1999-2002 and 2003-2006 Chevy Silverado 1500, respectively. Both are very simple and practically identical.
The only difference is that the '99-'02 has 2 pins that run along the back of the headlamp to secure it while the '03-'06 has only one on top of the assembly.
You won't need any tools to access and change your headlamp bulbs. We recommend wearing gloves to prevent getting fingerprints on the bulbs.
