The '01-'02 models use all the same bulbs as the '03-'06 with the exception of the fog lights. We make the distinction below in our size charts.

Check out these two great videos on how to change your headlight bulbs in your 2001-2002 and 2003-2006 Chevy Silverado 3500, respectively. Both are very simple and essentially identical.
The main difference is that the 2001 to 2002 version has 2 pins that run along the back of the headlight to secure it and 2003-2006 has only one on top of the assembly.
You won't need any tools to access and change your bulbs. We recommend wearing gloves to prevent getting fingerprints on them.
Here is a different install video, however, it is for a halogen to LED headlight bulb upgrade. This video is for the third-generation Silverado 3500 (2014-2015) but it'll give you an idea of what upgraded LED headlights look like.
