What is a decoder and do I need one for my vehicle?
A decoder is an accessory required on some vehicles to prevent your headlights and fog lights from flickering (strobing) and to eliminate dashboard warnings normally caused by aftermarket bulbs.
The decoder bypasses your car’s computer system so the aftermarket LED bulbs can function properly.
If your car requires a decoder but it is not added to your order, our LED bulbs will not work at all or as expected.

What is the difference between 25W, 35W and 45W?
The wattage determines the level of brightness. The higher the wattage, the brighter the bulbs will be.
You can expect the following brightness for each wattage level:
- 25-watt LED kit: 5000 lumens (2500 lm/bulb) - 100% brighter than stock halogens
- 35-watt LED kit: 7000 lumens (3500 lm/bulb) - 200% brighter than stock halogens
- 45-watt LED kit: 9000 lumens (4500 lm/bulb) - 300% brighter than stock halogens

Since most drivers are looking to improve their nighttime visibility, we always recommend that drivers go with the 45-watt option.
All our bulbs come with proprietary anti-glare technology so you can be sure you won’t be blinding other drivers, regardless of the brightness level selected.

What is the best LED color?
The best LED color to improve nighttime visibility is white for headlight low beams and high beams. The best LED color for fog light is yellow.

What is the LED microfan for?
What is the LED microfan for?
The micro-fan found on the back of all LED headlights and fog light bulbs dissipates heat (keep bulbs cool) and eliminates moisture to ensure proper functioning and to keep the bulbs shining brighter for longer.
Our micro-fans are completely silent and have zero radio interference.
Do I need a ballast?
Do I need a ballast?
No. Our LEDs do not require ballasts as we use the most advanced LED bulbs on the market. Our bulbs have an integrated LED driver that replicates the effect of a ballast.
Will LED headlight or fog light bulbs damage my headlight assemblies?

No. All our LED bulbs are designed specifically for your car and will never damage any part of your vehicle. The micro-fans will keep the bulbs cooler than your old halogen bulbs.

Our bulbs are designed to be an exact match to factory bulbs in terms of locking tabs and factory power harness for a seamless and easy Plug & Play installation.
Since LEDs have a fan that is not present in halogen bulbs, cars with small assemblies or with little room behind their assemblies may not accommodate LED bulbs and are strongly recommended to use Xenon HID bulbs.
In order to be sure that you are ordering the right bulb size, be sure to follow our Vehicle Finder. You can also look at your car manual for the exact bulb size to be sure.
If you have aftermarket headlight assemblies, using our Vehicle Finder will not display the right product since they are not the original headlights that came with the vehicle. These headlights typically carry H1, H7, 9005 or 9006 bulbs. You can confirm the size of the bulb by looking at the assembly user manual or by looking at the bulb inside the assembly.
Some vehicles may use adapters, retainers, and/or clips for the bulb socket. Said adapters, retainers, and/or clips may impact installation or fitment and are not included in our LED headlight bulb conversion kits. It is the customer's responsibility to acquire said adapters, retainers, and/or clips and to ensure they are compatible with LED conversion kits prior to ordering.

Is it easy to install LED headlight bulbs?
Installing LED headlights or fog light bulbs is just as easy as replacing halogen bulbs and should take no longer than 10-20 minutes per side.
- Loosen factory halogen bulb and remove from inside assembly
- Disconnect halogen bulb from factory power harness
- Secure LED bulb inside the assembly
- Connect the LED bulb to the factory power harness (if your car requires an anti-flicker, it will connect between the bulb plug and the factory harness)
